The Judge.me loyalty integration for Shopify. Reward loyalty points for reviews, automatically.
Judge.me is one of the most widely used review platforms on Shopify. It collects reviews, but it does not run a points program, so rewarding reviews needs a loyalty app alongside it. Yuko is that app: it gives loyalty points for reviews, into the same balance customers build from orders.
Yuko is not a reviews app. Judge.me collects the reviews, moderates them and shows them on your product pages. Yuko does one job here: it awards the points when a review lands.
The two events fire at different moments. Pick the wrong one and you either pay before checking the review, or never pay at all.
The integration itself is one rule, but what you build around it decides whether reviews actually arrive.
The Write a Review earning rule sets the points a review earns. Set it above your small everyday actions so writing one is clearly worth the effort.
“Earn 200 points for a review, against 5 for a daily visit.”
Why it works: a review takes real effort. If it pays the same as opening the site, nobody writes one.
Judge.me sends the review request. Time it after fulfilment, so the customer has actually used the product when the ask lands.
“How is it going? Leave a review and we will add 200 points to your account.”
Why it works: the points give the request a reason to be opened.
Yuko awards the points when the review lands, which fires an earn event your email tool can pick up.
“Thanks for the review. 200 points are in your account, and you are 300 from your next reward.”
Why it works: the customer sees the reward arrive, so the next request gets a better response.
In your Judge.me admin, go to Settings → API and copy your shop token. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Integrations → Judge.me, paste the token and connect. Yuko checks it and registers the webhook subscriptions on your Judge.me shop. Then turn on the events you want.
Your Write a Review earning rule must be enabled in Yuko, with the point value you want to award.
Every tool Yuko connects to, by category.
It awards Yuko loyalty points when a customer's Judge.me review lands. Yuko subscribes to Judge.me webhooks and uses your Write a Review earning rule to decide the points.
No. Yuko is a loyalty app. Judge.me collects the reviews, moderates them and shows them on your product pages. Yuko only awards the points.
An active Judge.me account connected to your Shopify store, and your Judge.me shop token from Settings, then API. The Write a Review earning rule also needs to be switched on in Yuko.
Use review created if you publish reviews straight away. Use review updated if you approve reviews before they go live.
Whatever you set on the Write a Review earning rule in Yuko. It is the same rule that governs every other way of earning.
[Confirm how repeat awards are handled before publishing. The docs describe the webhook events but not the deduplication rule.]
