The Loox loyalty integration for Shopify. Reward loyalty points for photo reviews.
Loox collects photo reviews on Shopify. Yuko rewards the customers who write them, with points that land in the same balance they build from orders.
Yuko is not a reviews app. Loox collects the reviews, sends the requests and shows the photo galleries. Yuko does one job here: it awards the points.
Loox has no connector of its own inside Yuko. It connects through Shopify Flow, using a Yuko Flow action rather than a direct API key.
Flow passes the photo through, so you can reward a photo review differently from a text-only one.
Judge.me has a connector of its own. You paste a shop token, and Yuko listens to Judge.me webhooks directly. Loox goes through Shopify Flow instead, so the setup lives in Shopify rather than in a screen inside Yuko.
The result is the same for the customer. The difference is where you build it. A Flow workflow also lets you add conditions, such as only rewarding reviews on certain products.
Two rules most stores set first, plus the one that makes photo reviews worth collecting.
The Write a Review earning rule sets what a review earns. Set it well above your small everyday actions, so writing one is clearly worth the effort.
“200 points for a review, against 5 for a daily visit.”
Why it works: a photo review takes real effort. If it pays the same as opening the site, nobody writes one.
The Flow action receives the photo URL, so Yuko knows whether the review had an image. Add a condition in your workflow and award a bigger bonus when it did.
“Photo review: 200 points. Text only: 100 points.”
Why it works: photo reviews are what Loox is for, and they convert better than text alone.
Flow passes the product through. Add a condition and award points only for reviews on a new launch, or on a range you want proof for.
“Double points for a review on anything in the new collection.”
Why it works: it points customer effort at the products that need reviews most.
In Shopify admin, go to Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Integrations → Shopify Flow and connect it. Then open Apps → Shopify Flow → Workflows and create a workflow that starts on the Loox review trigger. Add Yuko's add points for review action, map the customer and product, and turn the workflow on.
Your Write a Review earning rule needs to be enabled in Yuko, with the point value you want to award. [Confirm which Loox trigger to use, and the exact field mapping, before publishing.]
Every tool Yuko connects to, by category.
Yes, through Shopify Flow. Loox has no connector of its own inside Yuko. A Loox review starts a Flow workflow, that workflow calls Yuko's add points for review action, and the points land on the balance.
Judge.me has a direct connector in Yuko: you paste a shop token and Yuko listens to Judge.me webhooks. Loox has no connector of its own.
No. Yuko is a loyalty app. Loox collects the reviews and displays them. Yuko only awards loyalty points.
Judge.me has a direct connector and works today. If you are staying on Loox, the REST API awards points from any system that calls it.
Whatever you set on the Write a Review earning rule in Yuko. It is the same rule that governs every other way of earning.
